JJ is a Chef and Junella is a speech language pathologist. They were both set up by a stranger, Junella gave her number to a guy she met and that same guy met JJ months later and gave him her phone number.
“Our most memorable moment from our wedding day was our surprise first dance, which was 4 ballroom/ Latin dances in one,” recalled the couple.
“Scheme Events helped in finding our venue. The M Resort had a rooftop and a modern feel and food was a major priority for JJ,” said Junella.
“We heard about Memory Lane Video from the Bridal Spectacular and we were recommended by Scheme Events. We liked the work we saw on their website and on the day of the event, their professionalism is what we admired most,” said JJ and Junella.
“Now that the day has commenced, we learned that it is most important for the bride and groom to take their time to enjoy every moment because the day goes by fast. That day may not be 100% perfect but nobody will notice the little things that may not have worked out and in the end that’s not what matters. Future brides and grooms, do whatever you want to do for your special day because ultimately, the day is yours,” explained the couple.
“Video captures voice and body language and photos do not. Junella’s parents’ wedding video is the only video she has of her late father, so for us video was a necessity for our wedding,” said JJ.
“As you can see from our travel-themed wedding, we love to travel. For our honeymoon we are going to Fiji and New Zealand. We wanted to get out of North America,” said Junella and JJ.
